First Floor Walls

Below are a couple of the first floor walls of the house!! It is moving along fairly quickly

now, yeah!! First picture is of the bedroom, second is of the breakfast room, next one is of the hearth room and the last one of the great room!!

Well...drum roll please.....we have a completed foundation!! Wahoo! Pictures below! We have a first floor now and actually some first floor walls attached too but I have the completed fondation pictures handy right now so enjoy! It is a long time coming, but at least that is behind us!

The last two are before we began to dig! It has come really far!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

In light of Thankgiving next week, I thought that I would reminisce a bit, and show off some pictures of my little guy last Thanksgiving. Last year, he slept thru most of it but this year, I am sure that he will be into everything!! I am really excited. This has to be one of the best ages ever!

Our little guy is getting so big

So when they say they get big quick, they really do mean it!! Here is Caden to the left, in all his newborn goodness, at like 5 minutes old. And then just a month ago to the right, playing with one of his birthday gifts! If I hadnt watch the transition happen from then until now, I would have not believed that he was the same baby! He looks so different now! So blond-even though you really cant tell in that picture!

Raising a boy is a amazing experience! I always kinda thought that baby boys and girls were interested in similiar things and it wasnt until they were a little into their toddlerhood that they become interested in boyish or girlish things. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that isnt the case with our little Cade. He is a boys boy thru and thru. He is enamored by Daddy's truck, fascinated by the dump trucks across the road, likes to dig in the dirt and play with rocks, etc. He is getting so indepentent too. Walking whereever he pleases and even will take off into a jog if he is in a hurry! He will feed myself a meal (and not just Cheerios, but a toasted cheese sandwich!), and wants to feed myself the bottle. Which is actually kinda nice! He is also the only one to brush his teeth at night too. Thank goodness they are baby teeth because he isnt getting them very clean by sucking off the toothpaste but it is mighty cute to watch!!
